First Ever Phoenix Speakers Competitions: Humourous Speaking & Table Topics Contest 14 September 2011

A funny and fantastic first contest! Phoenix Speakers hosted our very first Toastmasters speechmaking competition on 14th September – thanks to our competitors, the volunteer functionaries and judges, and of course Alex Hood our VP PR & Events and Contest Chair who made the event possible!

Our intrepid winners went on to represent us at the Area Contest. Well done especially to Brad who placed 3rd in the Table Topics!

Next up: the Division contest, Saturday 15 October. Winners proceed to the UK & Ireland Finals on 12/13 November in Glasgow.

The Division Contest is an opportunity to meet other London toastmasters, see speakers in action, and attend focused workshops. See this website and our blog for more details!
