Another stimulating and thought provoking evening at Phoenix:
VP Education Brad Currin stood in for President Kristie West welcomed our members and guests and encouraged everyone to share any ideas for future meetings and feedback on past ones.
Toastmaster Tom Elliott introduced the meeting with the theme of “what advice would you give your 6 year old self”?
Timekeeper Gary Monk explained the Timekeeper’s role and encouraged us all to make the most of our time.
Grammarian Erin Godbold set out the Grammarian role and the Word of the Day “discombobulate.”
Table Topics Master Simon Simpson took us into a tasty gourmand version of impromptu speeches. Hearty congratulations to the superb guests who took on a table topic! Table topics were evaluated by Trang Le.
Stand-in Sergeant at Arms Camilla Graham welcomed all the guests.
